How do I redeem my TAP Miles&Go miles?
Miles you earn with eligible purchases with a TAP Miles&Go American Express® Card can be redeemed directly through TAP Air Portugal.
Sign into your TAP Miles&Go account to redeem your miles for flights, upgrades, and other benefits.

How do I earn miles?
Cardholders earn Miles on eligible purchases. For each dollar spent you’ll earn:
3x - On flights & all other purchases charged directly with TAP Air Portugal
2x - On hotels, car rentals & rideshare
1x - On all other purchases

What is the TAP Miles&Go Programme?
TAP Miles&Go Programme is TAP Air Portugal’s loyalty program.
Link your TAP Miles&Go account to Cardless, so any miles earned from eligible card purchases will be added to your TAP Miles&Go account after each statement cycle.
You can redeem these miles for airline tickets, upgrades, and other benefits. See here for more information.
Do I need a TAP Miles&Go account to apply for a TAP Miles&Go American Express® Card?
Link your TAP Miles&Go account to Cardless, so any miles earned from eligible card purchases will be added to your TAP Miles&Go account after each statement cycle.
You can enter your TAP Miles&Go client number when you apply for the credit card. Your client number starts with TP and can be found when you log in to TAP Air Portugal’s website.
If you do not have a TAP Miles&Go account we will create one for you so that you can take advantage of the credit card benefits right away.

What Lounges do I have access to?
Lounge passes are available for use at the TAP Premium Lounge at Lisbon Airport, in Portugal.
As a cardholder, you are eligible to receive two (2) TAP Premium Lounge passes per calendar year.
TAP Premium Lounge passes are only available for the cardholder, and guests are not allowed at this time. Access is administered by TAP Air Portugal. See here for more information on TAP’s Premium Lounge.
What is Preferred Boarding?
Preferred Boarding is a service that allows you and your companions to be one of the first passengers to board. Claim your seat, stow your carry-ons hassle-free, and get ready for a comfortable flight.
As a TAP Miles&Go American Express® cardholder, you are eligible to receive unlimited Preferred Boarding for you and any companions traveling on the same booking.

How many checked bag allowances do I get as a cardholder?
As a TAP Miles&Go American Express® cardholder, you are eligible to receive two (2) complimentary baggage allowances per calendar year. Check in one extra bag for no additional charge, twice per calendar year, on any TAP Air Portugal flight. Subject to Cabin rules.

What are Status Miles and how do I earn Status Miles?
Status Miles can help you reach TAP Miles&Go Gold or Silver status, and offer extra benefits when you fly with TAP Air Portugal.
For every 5 miles you earn by using your card, get 1 Status Mile. That’s 20% extra Status Miles on your miles earned, up to 10,000 Status Miles per year.

Status miles are not added to your miles balance and cannot be used for Award Tickets or other services. You will not earn Status Miles based on any “bonus” mileage accrual, such as sign-up/welcome bonuses and regular promotions, including any seasonal promotional campaigns.
